Rowley named top boss

THE perfect season was rounded off with an individual accolade for Forres Mechanics boss Charlie Rowley.

The Mosset Park gaffer was named Highland League ‘Manager of the Year’ for leading his side to only the second Highland League title in their history.

"I am very honoured and priveliged to win this given the list of previous winners," he said.

The fact the award is voted for by other managers means everything to Rowley.

"There were a lot of worthy candidates, so to be voted the winner by your peers is very nice."
