Tickets for Highland derby cup clash up for grabs

By SPP Reporter

TICKETS for the mouthwatering Scottish Cup fourth round clash between Ross County and Caley Thistle are selling fast.

The highly-anticipated first Highland derby at the new-look Global Energy Stadium is expected to be the venue’s first sell-out on 1st December.

Yesterday the hosts put their remaining 1000 seats on general release, after already seeing 3200 tickets snapped up.

Caley Thistle have sold 1400 so far and have 200 left, with the possibility of another 300 becoming available if there is demand.

“We have had really strong demand and it is certainly heading towards a sell-out,” said County’s general manager Ranald Gilbert. “It is fantastic and should produce a great atmosphere.”

Inverness also anticipate selling all its allocation for the game, which has a 12.15pm kick-off and will be televised live on BBC Scotland.

Tickets can be bought by calling the grounds or visiting them in person, with prices available on the club’s websites.

If you are unable to buy your seats, do not despair because we have teamed up with cup sponsors William Hills to give away eight free tickets.

We have two pairs for County supporters and two pairs for Inverness fans up for grabs.
