Woman robbed in Inverness street

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a purse was stolen from a female walking in an area of Inverness.

The robbery took place at around 10am this morning on Upper Kessock Street.

Officers from Northern Constabulary are looking to trace two men.

The first male is described as approximately 6ft, of slim build and was wearing a black Adidas hooded top, dark trousers and dark footwear.

The second male is described as approximately 5ft 6, of medium build and was wearing a light blue hooded top, grey trousers and orange and red trainers.
