Fire crews are spending a second day tackling a wildfire that has led to a number of road closures in the Dava and Carrbridge areas of the Highlands.

The blaze was reported at 4.05pm on Saturday, and Scottish Fire and Rescue service confirmed on Sunday afternoon that six fire engines remained at the scene.

It was earlier reported that the B9007 was closed from the junction at Duthil to Ferness.

The A939 was closed from Grantown-on-Spey to Ferness, and the A940 was closed at Dava.

Police asked members of the public to avoid the area.

People living nearby have been advised to keep their doors and windows closed.
