ANYONE who enjoyed Skerryvore's Hogmanay set at the Red Hot Highland Fling in Inverness won't have long to wait to see a return to the city.

The band has just announced they'll play Inverness Ironworks on Friday, April 12.

With a deluxe edition of their latest album World Of Chances album - released in November - the group rounded off the year with a series of Scottish dates and their appearance at the Hogmanay event which attached thousands in Inverness.

It was just after the release of their third album, the self-titled Skerryvore that the six-piece won the Scottish National Music Awards Record of the Year 2011 and the Scottish Traditional Music Awards' Live Act of the Year 2011.

Tickets go on sale from the venue on Friday from 10am.
