Keith stun Buckie in derby clash
KEITH came from behind to defeat hosts Buckie Thistle on Saturday, much to the delight of manager Dean Donaldson.
Scott Adams fired Jags ahead on 57 minutes after a mistake by Keith keeper Greg Simpson, who otherwise had a fine game.
But the Maroons hit back when assistant boss Jamie Lennox converted a Cammy Keith cross.
The Keith winner was scored by Jamie McAllister, who was filling in as a makeshift centre half alongside new signing Macaulay Rae.
Donaldson said: "I would have been happy with a point before the game but the boys are working hard, fitness levels are good.
"Over the piece I felt we were the better team playing better football."
Forres Mechanics pulled off a terrific 5-0 win at Deveronvale, and it was captain Stuart Soane's turn to be goal hero.
Soane netted Cans' fourth hat-trick of the season so far while Alan Pollock chipped in with two more for the dominant Mosset Park side.
Rothes were unlucky to lose 1-0 at high flying Brora Rangers with Craig Campbell's 28th minute goal settling the contest.
Lossiemouth's tough season continued with a 7-0 defeat at home to Fraserburgh.
Broch are now top on goal difference ahead of champions Cove, who are now the only one hundred per cent record team after their 4-0 win at Huntly.
Formartine's perfect start ended with a 2-1 loss at home to Wick Academy.
Fort William crashed 10-0 at Inverurie Locos, Nairn were 3-1 winners over Clach and Turriff United cruised past Strathspey Thistle 4-0.
