STORM damage has forced Eden Court to cancel today’s (Thursday 5th December) matinee performance of its panto Sleeping Beauty.

No other performances are affected as repairs to the affacted stage area are expected to be completed in time for this evening's performance to go ahead.

Box office staff have been contacting ticket holders to tell them of the cancelation.

Apologising on it's website, the theatre states: "We did everything we could to avoid this situation but in the end, cancelling was the only option. "
