Highland cops anxious to trace BMX biker involved in collision with car
HIGHLAND police are trying to trace a boy involved in a collision with a car to make sure he's okay.
Police in Inverness are keen to trace a young male, aged between 10-13, who they say was involved in a minor collision with a car at the junction of Kenneth Street and Greig Street in the city at about 5pm on Thursday.
Police say they want to confirm the child's wellbeing.
The boy was riding his bicycle, believed to be similar to a BMX type, from Greig Street towards Fairfield Road, Inverness, when he collided with the car.
The driver of the car stopped and spoke to the boy, who stated he was alright, and the youth thereafter left the area on his bike without providing any details to the driver.
He is described as being 10-13 years of age, wearing dark clothes and having straggly hair.
