Nairn votes in favour of business improvement district

Businesses in Nairn have voted in favour of establishing a business improvement district in the town.
Ballot papers for the Nairn BID election were issued to 281 eligible voters on June 21 and the count was held today.
With 51.2 per cent of ballots returned a total of 107 voted in favour of the BId proposal and 23 against.
