Aird district won the inaugural Bella Cup with a convincing 4-0 victory over a Great Glen select at Balgate on Wednesday evening.

With Beauly and Lovat providing the players for the Aird District and Glenurquhart and Strathglass for the Great Glen side, a decent crowd was drawn to Kiltarlity on a perfect evening for shinty.

Earlier the crowd had been well entertained with select matches at under-12 and also a six-a-side ladies match.

It was honours even with the Great Glen coming out on top at under-12 level with a 1-0 victory, while the ladies from the Aird were 2-0 winners.
