THEATRE-lovers can see up-and-coming young talent from the area in action when members of the Badenoch and Strathspey Youth Theatre take to the stage at Eden Court.

Local youngsters will perform the group’s latest production ‘Look and Sea!’ at Studio Two in the Inverness theatre at 8pm this Friday (July 29).

The play, which was postponed from Easter, is a comedy looking at the pollution of our seas.

Lorraine Hemmings from Eden Court’s arts education department said: “The audience meet characters that make an impact on our ocean environment. Using humour and live music, the cast are keen to convey the serious message beneath the laughter.

The Badenoch and Strathspey Youth Theatre brings together young performers from across the Badenoch and Strathspey area.

Ms Hemmings said: “It would be great to see the local community coming along to support this talented and committed young company performing in Eden Court Theatre”.

The local youth theatre is part of Eden Court arts education department in partnership with Highland Council.

Tickets are priced £3 for adults and £2 for concessions, and are available from the Eden Court box office.
