Information sought over Halkirk fuel theft

A SUBSTANTIAL amount of fuel has been stolen from the fuel tank of a GMRHenderson (Wick) lorry which was parked on Sinclair Street, Halkirk, and police have now launched an appeal for witnesses.

Officers in Thurso are investigating the incident, which occurred between 6.55pm on August 15 and 7am the following day.

Today (Tuesday), the police made an appeal for those who may know anything about the theft, or who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area, to come forward.
