Morning crash closes main road between Castletown and Dunnet

Emergency services have been at the scene of an accident near Castletown this morning which has closed the A836 in both directions.

Police Scotland have confirmed that the main road between Castletown and Dunnet was closed following a two vehicle crash.

A police spokesperson said: "We were called around 8am on Friday (June 24) to a report of a two vehicle crash on the A836 near Castletown. Emergency services are at the scene and the road is currently closed."
