MORE pontoons have been installed at Scrabster to accommodate the rising number of pleasure craft sailing into the area.
Scrabster Harbour Trust has spent £130,000 in creating four additional berths on the ice quay.
The new 40-metre long pontoons add to the existing 33 pontoons in the inner basin of the harbour.
The first customers to use Scrabster’s new pontoons were Lesley Foden and Laura Try, who are on a charity row around Britain, raising money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
