Mix-up delays Thurso film premiere

THURSO Cinema has been forced to delay its premiere of one of its movies after the film was sent to the other end of the country by mistake.

Staff announced on its Facebook site that the first showing of Top Cat was postponed after the distributor sent the movie to a cinema at Truro in Cornwall.

The cinema apologised that it was unable to show the film tonight (Friday) as planned and said that geography lessons may be required.

It said that its first showing would now be on tomorrow (Saturday) and would be screened daily at 10.20am throughout the week.
