Missing Thurso man found

The man reported missing from Thurso on Thursday (November 17) was found, police have confirmed.

Eddie Macgregor, 27, was last seen on foot at 8.10pm on Thursday on the B874 road at the Glengolly junction.

Police launched a public appeal to help trace him and have now confirmed that he has been traced “safe and well”.

A Police Scotland bulletin posted on Twitter at 1.51am today stated: "Missing Person - Found - Eddie MacGregor from Thurso.

"Eddie MacGregor from Thurso has been found safe and well. Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in helping find him."
