A SELFLESS team from the Lyth-based stable Horsin’ Around braved the elements to climb one of the highest hills in the county for charity.

The challenge was part of a bid to raise money for Children in Need, said trek leader and stable owner Natalie Oag.

"Last year we climbed Morven and Maiden Pap and we took on another challenge last Monday to climb Scaraben," Natalie said.

The weather turned a bit sour on the team after the sunny days of the previous week but Natalie together with Eleanor Hargrave, Sophie Morgan, Alister Mather, Gina Lewis, Sophie Bell and stable mascot Louis Vuitton the Chihuahua all trudged on through heavy downpours to make it to the top.

"Louis put on his raincoat and led the team of six up Scaraben, bracing against the elements to reach the top. We were all feeling invigorated after achieving a lifetime goal while raising money for Children in Need."

Alister Mather, who took the photo, said he was proud to follow on behind Louis and Natalie to win a prize for his efforts.
