Man questioned in relation to Thurso assault

A 21-year-old has been reported to the procurator fiscal in relation to an assault in Thurso Town Centre which left a man seriously injured.

The incident took place on Sunday morning at 3:30am near Sir John’s Square when a man suffered serious head injuries as a result of the assault.

Area Inspector Nick Clasper confirmed a man has been questioned and a report has been submitted regarding the incident.

No further information about the condition of the victim has been released.
