Craig MacDougall didn't come quietly when police officers attempted to arrest him, Wick Sheriff Court heard on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old reacted 'inappropriately' when the constables arrived at his home in Proudfoot Road, Wick, to speak to him about a separate matter on September 27, last year.

He pushed the two officers, forcing them backward, but they were uninjured.

MacDougall admitted resisting or obstructing the constables in the execution of their duty. He pleaded guilty, and also admitted having a record, and was fined £265.
