Man charged over alleged Wick robbery

A 23-year-old north Sutherland man appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court today on charges including one alleging a robbery in Wick.

John Cowie, of Strathy, was also accused of taking and driving away a car, dangerous driving, and having no licence or insurance.

He made no plea, was committed for further examination and released on bail.
