Man broke into Wick house and stole swords

A Skye man has admitted breaking into the home of a former Wick solicitor and stealing a number of swords.
Jordon McPhee (22) entered the property on Breadalbane Terrace, Wick, on July 30, 2019, Wick Sheriff Court heard on Tuesday.
The house was unoccupied at the time. It was the home of Taco Nolf when he practised at the town's court a few years ago.
McPhee, of Castle Crescent, Dunvegan, pleaded guilty to a reduced charge and admitted a number of previous convictions.
Sheriff Christian Marney called for a background report which he will consider on March 23 after he hears details of the break-in, prior to sentencing the accused.
