A Wick man breached a bail order the day after it was imposed at the town's sheriff court.

Stephen Taylor (43) appeared from custody at Wick Sheriff Court on Thursday and pleaded guilty to an amended charge.

A condition of the bail, imposed last Tuesday, banned him from contacting a couple who live in Harrow Terrace, Wick, but Taylor subsequently shouted at them from his garden.

Although Taylor lives in Cairndhuna Terrace, the two gardens are adjacent.

Sentence was deferred on him until September 20. Sheriff David Sutherland again allowed the accused bail.
