Man arrested after incident at shop in Wick

A 52-year-old man was arrested after an incident occurred at a shop in Wick's High Street on Saturday where he was observed lying on the ground with police and ambulance crew attending.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.50pm on Saturday, 29 July, 2023 we were called to a report of concern for a person at a premises on High Street, Wick.
“Emergency services attended and a 52-year-old man was taken by ambulance to hospital. He was later arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear in court at a later date. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
