A WICK man has admitted having sex with an underage teenager.
John Daniel Begg will be sentenced next month.
The accused appeared from custody at Wick Sheriff Court on Tuesday to face the indictment. The offence occurred at Begg's home in the town's Macrae Street, between November 12 and 29, 2020. The girl was said to have been aged 15, at the time.
The accused, who has a record of offending, will be sentenced on November 15 after Sheriff Ian Miller considers a background report.
Begg was allowed bail but his freedom was short-lived.
The 32-year-old remained in the dock to face charges of wasting police time, threatening and abusive behaviour and two breaches of bail.
He made no plea and was remanded in custody pending further inquiry.
