TWO far north ferry crossings have been cancelled tomorrow.

Pentland Ferries announced this morning that Tuesday’s 12pm crossing leaving from St Margaret’s Hope on Orkney and the 1.30pm return crossing from Gills Bay have been called off to allow essential maintenance work to be carried out.

All other sailings are to go ahead as planned and ferry services today and for the rest of the week should not be affected.

Pentland Ferries apologised for any inconvenience caused.
