THE launch of an exciting new North of Scotland Newspapers website means users can now view thousands of cars for sale in the Highlands, Moray and Banffshire and UK.

The www.Motors.co.uk north website is now live.

Set up by Scottish ?Provincial Press (SPP), publishers of the John O’Groat Journal and Caithness Courier, it allows dealers in the Highlands, Moray and Banffshire, and private customers, to offer cars for sale.

Vehicles from throughout the UK will also be featured giving users a huge database of cars to choose from. The colourful and comprehensive new website will also be packed with a wealth of local and national motor news, including test drives and cars of the week, provided by Groat and Courier’s car supplement, motorsnorth.

SPP has teamed up with the successful national used car classified networks Motors.co.uk in the exciting venture.

Keith MacKay, SPP advertisement director, predicted the new website would rival Autotrader with the number of vehicles for sale and actually offer more local cars.

“It will have thousands of cars from the Highlands, Moray and Banffshire and the rest of the UK and is the most exciting digital offering for motors locally,” he said.

“Readers and website users will be able to go on and search by car make, model, colour and transmission – there will be a plethora of options. We will now be able of offer an online search service enabling buyers to find the car of their choice locally.”

Gary Hobson, CEO of Motors.co.uk said it was delighted to link up with SPP because the company had long-standing and trusted relationships with the Highland used car market.

The attractive new website can also be accessed by a link from the Groat and Courier website – www.johnogroat-journal.co.uk
