Lochshell café hosts first proper book launch since lockdown started

Local author Glyn Salisbury will host the launch of his 16th book in The Rumbin' Tum café at Lochshell near Wick this weekend.

Glyn's book is the next in his R.U.N.E. series and will be on sale at the café this Sat/Sun (April 9 and 10) from 9am until 7pm.

R.U.N.E. Beneath Loch Ness deals with Phil Tucker who, following the disappearance of one of his team, instigates a search and rescue mission in the Scottish Highlands.

Glyn says it's a mission complicated by an audacious kidnapping – the body count mounts as RUNE attempt to unravel the mystery of their missing colleague and the kidnapping.

"Are the two connected? Compromises must be made, but at what cost? Can RUNE save their team member and rescue the kidnapped without losing anybody?

"Knife edge excitement in and around a popular tourist attraction – Loch Ness," adds Glyn.
