A SOLO performer is to explore the life of Queen Elizabeth I in a special performance for a Caithness audience.

Lyth Arts Centre will host Rebecca Vaughan as she takes people, using only Elizabeth’s words, through the Queen’s struggle to reconcile the desires of womanhood with the duties of sovereignty.

The show, which was a five-star sell-out hit at the Edinburgh Festival, will be held on Monday at 8pm.

Tickets must be booked in advance. To do so phone 01955 641434.
