A King's lunch held in Dunbeath Community Centre on Sunday was attended by 80 people – including half a dozen who had been to an event at the same venue to celebrate the late Queen's coronation almost 70 years before.

The lunch was organised by the centre management committee and sponsored by Dunbeath Estate, local businesses and individuals.

Management committee secretary Francis Allan said: "It was a very enjoyable afternoon. We would like to thank all who attended and helped to make this family event such a successful and memorable occasion."
