A GROUP of youngsters have taken part in a beach clean at Keiss. The primary one to seven pupils were helped out by school staff and parents as well as Gordon Macgregor and his team from pipeline construction company, SubSea 7.

Acting head teacher Sylvie Sinclair was delighted with the event and said: "We met Gordon and the team at the beach and they spoke about the importance of looking after the environment. We collected lots of rubbish from our starting point up to SubSea7. Once there, they treated us with a lovely snack before driving us back to Keiss. The whole school would like to thank Subsea7 for organising this event and for the generous snacks and transport they provided."
