Keiss, Bower, and Crossroads schools celebrate World Book Day

Keiss, Bower, and Crossroads primary schools teamed up to celebrate World Book Day with "tons of excitement" reported at the event.

Sylvie Sinclair, acting head teacher, said: "They went all out with the theme 'dress as a word,' and everyone, from pupils to teachers, designed awesome DIY costumes.

"The children were split into five groups and had a blast rotating through fun activities, diving deep into the world of books. Between all the action, they played, and had lunch, strengthening the friendships between the schools.

"A huge thank you to the amazing staff for planning such a memorable day, and to Mrs. Stewart, the super chef, for keeping everyone fuelled with delicious meals.”
