TRUNK road operator Scotland TranServ recently presented two rural Caithness schools with a cheque and equipment to help promote road safety.
Customer service manager Cathel Macaskill handed over £100 and a set of ‘high-vis’ vests from the Transerv community fund to help highlight road safety within Dunbeath and Lybster primary schools. Mr Macaskill is pictured presenting the cheques to head teacher Carol Grant.
They are seen with pupils from Dunbeath School (some in Hallowe’en attire) along with junior road safety officers from Lybster School; Dunbeath teacher Susan Buchan; Brian Macleod, Transerv foreman at the Dunbeath depot and Gavin Mackenzie, Transerv route steward.
