Traffic lights near the Tesco store in Thurso have been repaired.

REPAIRS have been made to traffic lights at the junction of the A836 Thurso to Castletown road and the A9. A malfunction was reported to contractor BEAR Scotland last Thursday and it was repaired the following day but a further fault occurred on Sunday.

A spokeswoman for the contractor said: “The problem has been repaired and the lights should be working again.”

A report about what happened is “expected in due course.”
