Jennifer is new president at Thurso Rotary Club

Thurso Rotary Club has a new president after its annual handover and assembly evening.

Jennifer Davenport takes over the role of president from outgoing president Derek Sinclair after what the group said was a very successful year in office.

Jennifer spoke of Derek’s sterling charity fundraising efforts which included running the London and Edinburgh marathons as well as the Inverness Half-Marathon.

The club also welcomed Ian Swainson as a new member and Sarah Wilkinson who had joined the club the previous week.
