Seventeen-year-old Jayden Alexander's book, A History of Wick and Keiss Baptist Church, was published in January and has sold well among the congregation.

"I'm really pleased about the book sales and I just wanted to tell local people that it will now be for sale at the Wick Heritage Museum from April 19."

The book is priced £5.50 and is available at the museum, which is opening for the 2019 season.

A History of Wick and Keiss Baptist Church has tales about John Horne, Jock Troupe and the fishermen’s revival. Also included is the story of the Haldane brothers and their "journey through a historic Caithness preaching God’s word to a lost people".

"With exquisite photographs from the Johnston Collection people can read of the Baptist Church’s walk with God throughout the years," Jayden said.
