Jack Russell dog killed at Thurso Road pedestrian crossing

POLICE in Wick are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision.

At around 4.30pm on Wednesday at the pedestrian crossing on Thurso Road a Jack Russell dog was struck and killed by a 4 x 4 vehicle.

The vehicle, described as being a dark colour, failed to stop and drove away from the scene.
