High Life Highland (HLH) which operates numerous services in Caithness says it will close all locations on Monday (September 19) as a mark of respect for the Queen's funeral.

Chair of HLH’s board, Mark Tate said: “Following the announcement made by Buckingham Palace that the funeral of Her Majesty The Queen will take place on Monday 19th September, the board and management believe it would be appropriate to close all High Life Highland buildings to allow our staff the opportunity to pay their respects.”

All High Life Highland locations will resume normal opening hours on Tuesday, September 20.
