High Life Highland (HLH) is keen to appoint two new independent directors to the charity’s board.

It wants them to provide strategic direction, expert advice and governance to the organisation.

HLH supports people of all ages across the region through delivery of services including leisure facilities, libraries, archives, community centres and visitor attractions.

The board consists of four Highland councillors and eight independent directors.

HLH chairman Mark Tate said: “Being part of a board like High Life Highland is a rich and rewarding experience. Our organisation’s clear focus is to make life better for communities throughout the Highlands and, although this comes with responsibility, it also brings satisfaction to all involved when we see the difference being made.

"We are a genuinely friendly and welcoming organisation and look forward to hearing from anyone who would like to find out more about this kind of role.”
