Help ma Boab artist has designs on Oor Wullie!

A CAITHNESS artist did not say “jings”, “crivens” or even “help ma boab” when she was selected to illustrate one of the 50 Oor Wullie statues which are to be displayed around Dundee this year.
But Catherine Redgate, who comes from Castletown and now lives and works in Aberdeen, was delighted one of her three designs was picked by the judges.
She spent two days this week putting the illustration on the five-foot statue of Oor Wullie with her design based on the Angus Glens hills near Dundee.
