The Watten SWI met on Thursday, February 1 for the first meeting of 2024.

After business was concluded members enjoyed a wonderful display of craft items, made by members over the years.

What a variety of crafts were shown, but the highlight of the evening was a massive collection brought in by member Eva Swanson who told members of her crafting history which began in her childhood and carried on right on to the present day.

The quality of craftsmanship and variety of skills was superb. What a display!

The competitions of the evening were: 4 pieces of Fudge: 1, F Campbell; 2, H Campbell; 3, E Battrick; 4, C Jones;

and A Pair of Hand Knitted Adult Socks: 1, E Battrick; 2, C Jones.

Supper was supplied and served by K Mackenzie.
