Melvich Primary School held an enjoyable Halloween party on Friday during the school’s weekly Together Time.

All 36 nursery and primary pupils attended the party and enjoyed a variety of activities, including dooking for apples, decorating apples by dipping them in chocolate and decorating with sprinkles, making pumpkin seed pictures, Halloween colouring activities, grab a doughnut, spooky dancing and messy play. Pupils also were treated to juice and a selection of sweet treats.

P5-7 teacher Amanda Mackay said: “All the children had a great time at our Halloween party. We were delighted that everyone dressed up and there was a huge variety of costumes.

"The pupil council made an excellent job of organising the event and are already turning their thoughts towards Children in Need."

The members of the pupil council are Dylan Mackay (P7), Callan Mackay (P5), Marielle Mackay (P5), Lachlan Mackay (P4), Kamryn Mackay (P3), Aurelia Sweeting (P2) and Seumas Kerr (P1).

Nursery pupil Reuben Sweeting had a fun time dooking for apples, watched by P2 pupil Connor Crossley.
