Going ‘Ga-ga’ as Keiss celebrates with a village gala
A village will be going “Ga-Ga” over the weekend as a special singer tops off its annual gala.
A Lady Ga-Ga tribute act is heading up festivities at the Keiss mini gala which kicks off tonight with the crowning of the gala queen.
This will be followed by a young versus old football game and crab and horse racing.
Tomorrow there will be a junior county football game, pet and baby show and the new It’s a Knockout competition in the afternoon.
Various stalls and other entertainments will also be set up around the village hall. Taking to the stage at night will be the Lady Gaga

Rounding things off on Sunday will be a kids’ fancy dress contest, a car treasure hunt and the usual tug-of-war and races.
Designs for the villages proposed new play park will also be available to view over the weekend and the public will be consulted on the three possible options by the Keiss Family Community Project.
