Forss man accused of using car in alleged assaults

Thirty-year-old Jamie Sutherland is to go on trial accused of three assaults involving the use of a car.
Sutherland pleaded not guilty at Wick Sheriff Court on Tuesday to assaulting two people on Henderson Street, Thurso on April 28 by driving the car towards them and attempting to strike them with it.
He also denied driving it towards another individual and striking him on the body with it.
He further denied failing to stop after an accident.
Sutherland, of Brims Mains Road, Forss, had his trial fixed for November 26.
