Former Wick man assaulted two girlfriends nearly four years apart
A man assaulted two of his ex partners nearly four years apart during disagreements, the sheriff at Wick heard last week.
Kevin Wilson (33), who lived in Wick at the time but has since moved south, admitted the offences.
His earlier partner was first on the receiving end of Wilson’s unacceptable behaviour, on December 8, 2019.
Fiscal depute Grant McLennan said that both of them had taken “a substantial amount of alcohol” when trouble flared around 1am after Wilson rejected her suggestion that he sleep in the spare room of their then home in West Banks Terrace, Wick.
Wilson grabbed hold of the woman and pushed her, causing her to fall to the floor and hit her head.
The second assault occurred on September 7, 2023, after Wilson and his then partner returned home to Green Road, Wick, after a disagreement in the town centre.
Mr McLennan said that there was “a ruckus” and Wilson grabbed her and pushed her, causing her to fall to the floor and strike her head.
The court was told that he had since moved south and was living in Jopps Lane, Aberdeen.
Sheriff Neil Wilson called for a background report which he will consider on February 19, when he will hear mitigation from Wilson’s solicitor, Alex Burn, before passing sentence.
