Former Thurso High pupil lands STV reporter job

FORMER Thurso High School student Colin Stone is to be one of the faces of a new digital channel which will launch next month.

STV Glasgow is a new digital station which will go on air on Monday, June 2, and be available to two million viewers in the west of Scotland on Freeview.

Stone, who is originally from Castletown and graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University last year, will be a roving reporter on the show where he will be presenting at different locations across the city.

Stone will be joining presenters David Farell, Storm Huntley and Jennifer Reoch on a live two-hour show which will be broadcast each week night from 6.30pm.
