FLOW Photofest comes to Thurso this weekend
A biennial international photography festival, is coming to multiple venues across the Highlands and Islands including Thurso on Saturday (September 4).
With High Life Highland (HLH) as a partner, the 2021 FLOW Photofest exhibitions are themed around "legacy" and will be on view at HLH venues including Inverness Museum and Art Gallery, Thurso Art Gallery, and Skye and Lochalsh Archive Centre.
The exhibitions open on Saturday (September 4), and will also be taking in sites in Elgin, Moray, Portree, Stromness, Stornoway, and on the Isle of Lewis.
FLOW Photofest first ran in September 2017 and aims to present new and recent work by Scottish and international photographers.
Photographers on show at Thurso Art Gallery, until September 25, are Sean Patrick Campbell with Swollen Utopia and Jo Bentdal with Common Sensibility.
At Inverness Museum and Art Gallery, running until October 16, are Thomas Joshua Cooper with Caledonian Desire Lines, Flannery O’Kafka with Thin Blood/Thick Water and Frances Scott with Undertow: Unfolding. At Skye and Lochalsh Archive Centre, until September 30, is David Williams with Pictures from No Man’s Land.
