Firefighters called to Thurso High School after soap dispenser incident

Firefighters were called to Thurso High School this week after reports of a fire in a toilet area.

It involved a soap dispenser and no-one was hurt.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 1.33pm on Wednesday, May 29, to reports of a building fire at Thurso High School.

“Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene and on arrival firefighters found that a soap dispenser within pupil toilets had already been extinguished.

“There were no casualties and crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
