Fire crews called out to Freswick house fire





FIRE crews from John O’Groats and Wick were called out to a house fire in Freswick on Thursday morning.

Emergency services attended at 9.42am when firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used three hose-reel jets to tackle the fire which was extinguished by 11.16am.

A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “Fire crews also used a thermal imaging camera and stripped back timber and boards while extinguishing the fire.”
