Fire breaks out at house in Wick





FIRE crews were called out after a fire broke out at a house in Wick on Saturday night.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service reported two teams from Wick Fire Station extinguished a fire at Murchison Street.

Fire crews received a call at 7.30pm and an ambulance was also called to the scene.

An SFRS spokeswoman said: "Fire crews treated one woman with oxygen until paramedics arrived.

"Crews used two pieces of breathing apparatus to access and ventilate the building."
