Forgetting to renew his insurance policy cost Calum Shields a £300 fine.

The 25-year-old also incurred six penalty points after he pleaded guilty to driving without insurance, at Wick Sheriff Court on Wednesday.

The offence came to light after Shields, of Argyle Square, Wick, was stopped by the police in Victoria Place, Wick, on December 3, last year.
